The StrengthsFinder or CliftonStrengths® Assessment is an online assessment created by Gallup to measure the presence of innate talent across 34 areas associated with thriving and excellence. It is not a personality test but rather a tool that helps you become a better leader by tapping into what is best about you.
As of today, 28 million people worldwide have taken this assessment and shifted their mindset from wrong-to-strong!

What is the value of CliftonStrengths® assessment for individuals or teams?
Good question. Before I answer it, let me ask you a couple of questions.
Do you ever wonder why some things energize you and other things leave you drained, and deflated? Is there a person on your team that you simply don’t get and it causes friction in your relationship?
The assessment results will help you unlock the answers to these and many other questions.
Studies tell us that it isn’t until people know what makes them talented and unique that they know how to build better relationships, become better teammates, and perform better in their jobs.
In fact, when employees can use their strengths every day, they are 6x more engaged in their jobs and 3x more likely to say that they are satisfied in life.
The business case for what the strengths-based approach brings to teams, businesses, and organization is just as strong. Teams that decide to focus on strengths, have productivity numbers go up as high 29% in areas such as profit, sales, and employee engagement.

Invest in yourself by meeting with me or another Strengths coach for a Strengths Discovery coaching session. It will help you find tangible ways to leverage and thrive with your strengths. You can jump on a quickdiscovery callhere to see if we are the right fit.
Print your Strengths Insight Guide. This report is personalized to you based on your unique order of themes. Highlight words that really describe you. Cross out those that don't.
Share your report with the people in your life. Ask them if they see how your talent themes fire in you. Then, apply those talents in each area of your life.
What do you do with weaknesses in your work with teams? Do you just ignore them?
You are not alone in asking that question, it’s a valid concern.
The short answer to that question is no, we don’t ignore the weaknesses of your team members. Instead, we mitigate them as we find ways to intentionally invest in the strengths of the team.
Now, an even better question that I challenge my clients with is, “Do you know your weaknesses?” You see, in the strengths-based movement, we define a weakness as anything that stands in the way of your excellent performance.
For example, if you are not good with numbers but your role as a salesperson doesn’t require you to crunch through reams of data, then you don’t have a weakness.
Decades of Gallup research is clear on this point – our greatest contribution in life will never come from our weaknesses but rather from our inherent strengths.
How do I know that your High Performing Teams program will work for me and my team?
Well, we cannot guarantee it will! However, what we can say is that 200+ teams have gone through our program - the same process, exercises, and powerful digital nudges. The program worked for them.
As one of our clients said, “I knew that this program was for us because it involved more than a stand-alone session. I think this program is excellent. I loved the interaction and feedback within the digital platform and learning how better to work with my colleagues.” – Scot, Senior VP, IT Company

How is your strengths-based approach different than other things I have tried?
I think, I know what you mean. Things like stand-alone workshops, online modules, or even costly executive courses? They all have their place, but they are missing a few key things.
There is no team journey – they are taken by individuals and not the entire team.
Up to 90% of all the material is lost within the first four weeks and never put into practice because there is no follow-up.
There is no common language that unites the whole team. When someone on the team goes to a session and comes back excited to try what they just picked up in the workshop, no one else can understand them.
Our approach is different because it focuses on what’s positive and strong with people, and what their unique contributions are to others. We take the team on a journey that resets and aligns the team. Helps the team get better results with less friction and more flow by playing into everyone’s strengths.

How will this strengths-based approach help me as a team leader?
The assessment results and my assistance in using them on your team will help you unlock the potential of your team members.
You will get a cheat sheet of sorts for each of your direct reports. You will find out what motivates them, drains them, or helps them bring their best every day. That valuable information will help you place them in roles that align with their natural talents and strengths. That’s where the magic happens!
In addition, the strengths-based resources we provide leaders, help their team members “get each other” better, removing the unnecessary friction, and making the team more cohesive.
